Insiang is a song about sexual abuse. The film of the same name tells the story of Insiang, a lass in the slums whose mother brutalizes her and refuses to believe her when she tells her that her mother's younger boyfriend is sexually abusing her. She gets her revenge when she turns the tables and seduces her mother's boyfriend which makes her mother murderous and sends the old woman to jail. In the end of the movie, Insiang visits her mother in jail and tells her she did all this because she loves her. Her mother just turns her back and walks away.
